Culture Cloths is a collective artistic practice and talk series that explores the ways cultural heritage shapes identity and fosters dialogue. Initiated by artist and researcher Sabrine S. Hakam in collaboration with other artists, Culture Cloths emerged from a shared moment with Morningstar Quill, where they wrapped themselves in the fabrics of their respective cultures. This sparked an ongoing conversation about the histories, meanings, and representations woven into textiles. Through discussions, artistic interventions, and community engagement, Culture Cloths examines how fabric serves as both a marker of identity and a site of resistance, bridging personal narratives with broader socio-political contexts.

Culture Cloths is a series of interactive exhibits designed by Sabrine S. Hakam and hosted by Jamii (The Esplanade), that explore the uniqueness and importance of these cloths, fabrics and prints across different cultures through a series of displays, workshops and community-engaged talks.
